As a Reconciling in Christ community, we pledge to strive for truth and justice. And we acknowledge that the necessary work required of us to live into that pledge demands we take an honest look at ourselves and do the hard work of examining and rooting out the systemic injustices in our church.
During February of 2025, we hosted a weekly discussion of Jemar Tisby's book "The Color of Compromise." This was the first part of a 2-part series on anti-racism we are hosting this year. Part 2 of the series will begin on a yet-undetermined date in early Fall. Please be on the lookout in our newsletter, on social media and our website for more info. Tisby's follow-up to his first book, "How to Fight Racism", will be the subject of the second series. There are copies of the book and an accompanying study guide available now and for FREE at Nineveh for any who would like one.
Over the course of our February discussion, our group compiled a list of resources to help guide us as individuals and as a community as we move forward, putting our words into action in the ongoing fight against racism in our world. The videos, also, will remain posted and available for you to review.
