Called to Truth: Facing Racism Pt. II
September 10-November 19 Via ZOOM Join us for a transformative class on How to Fight Racism: Courageous Christianity and the Journey Toward Racial Justice by Jemar Tisby—a compelling and practical guide for people of faith who want to move beyond awareness and into action. Grounded in a Christian vision of justice and reconciliation, this study invites us to confront the reality of racism with honesty, courage, and hope. Together, we’ll explore concrete steps toward building beloved community as we live into our baptismal call to resist evil, injustice, and oppression in whatever forms they present themselves. All are welcome—come ready to learn, reflect, and act. Free copies of the book are available at Nineveh upon request! Look out for links to the video series coming soon!! |

Campfire Collective
Nov 14 @ 7:30pm EVERY SECOND FRIDAY of the month, all LGBTQIA+ and Allies are invited into community at Nineveh: Lutheran Justice Ministry to gather around the fire, meet new friends, check-in with old ones and enjoy some fireside treats! If the weather is not our friend, we will move indoors for a movie night! Everyone is welcome! The event is free! The structure of the Collective has been intentionally left open so that we can build this program together as friends. It is open to all LGBTQIA+ and Allies of all ages and we at Nineveh are committed to its prospects. We are a faith-based organization, but the Campfire Collective is not a religious event. We gather only as friends and equals. |

Friendsgiving Meal & Transgender Day of Remembrance Worship Service Nov 20 @ 5:30pm Nineveh: Lutheran Justice Ministry is a fully affirming and welcoming faith community. Everyone is invited to join us for a potluck meal together, to eat and fellowship with one another in our Fellowship Hall. After we enjoy our meal, we will gather in the sanctuary for a simple worship service of song, Scripture, prayer, a message, and offering. We love to have everyone for both the meal and service, but there is no obligation to stay for worship after you eat. We are happy to have you with us. For every meal, we have a theme and invite all who attend to bring something to share. Looking forward to seeing you there! |

Jemisin and Margaret Atwood. Precocious and clear-eyed, Lauren must make her voice heard in order to protect her loved ones from the imminent disasters her small community stubbornly ignores.
