Rev. Libby hails from SC and is Gamecock alumni, having received her B.A. from USC, Columbia. Following graduation, she served her country, enlisting in the United States Navy and serving on the USS Gridley, homeported in San Diego, CA.
Completing her M.Div. at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, CA, and receiving final approval for ordination from the ELCA Northwest Washington Synod in 2020, she felt called to return to her Southern roots and she accepted a position as pastor to Christ Lutheran Church in Radford, which closed in 2023. Her vision for Nineveh arose from her own story, desiring a space of healing and spiritual growth especially for those who have been rejected and ostracized. Rev. Libby has embraced Radford as her new home and can often be seen enjoying its parks with her three loyal companions, Goober, Ace, and Sadie. By the grace of God, she is joyfully and gratefully 9 years sober. |
